Beautiful texture where it is focus. I would have liked to see the bottom of the cup in focus as well, i.e. use a smaller f-stop or a shorter focal length lens at the same aperture.

First, I was shooting at f/6.3, so I did have room either way with a f/4 lens. Second, to get a deeper DOF you would indeed choose a smaller aperture, e.g. f/8.
