Thanks a lot for this site!! It is VERY informative and accurate.
All sections are great, but I really recently appreciated the one on flashes... topic really obscure for me so far...
A real help!

Congratulations.

Michael Hohner's excellent photography is inspirational! Superb images of spiders I have never seen! I use Minolta gear (amongst others) but my opinion of in is reinforced now.

Hi, dear Mr. Michael Hohner!

My ask, the 3500xi flash is compatible with the Dynax 40?

Thank you, best regards: Andras (in Hungary)
Michael Hohner answers:
Unfortunately, the 3500xi and the 40 are not compatible. The 40 is one of the few film cameras that require a D flash unit. This is because the camera does not have a TTL-OTF metering cell and can only meter correctly with ADI or pre-flash TTL metering. Neither of these modes is supported by the 3500xi.

Thanks for such a useful andl informative Minolta website. It has been so much help in making sense of the prolific Minolta arsenal. I own four Minolta cameras and a lot of other Minolta photographic equipment. I previously own Nikons and Canons. I must say that I prefer Minoltas!

Thanks for creating such a useful Minolta equipment website. Your site helped me a lot to get Minolta prime lenses. Everytime I visit your website I feel myself a proud owner of Minolta gear. You've done an outstanding job. Sony should pay you lot of money for creating this website. Hope you'll keep updating it and make us feel proud.

Kind regards,
Hamzah.

Great site. Thanks so much for taking the time to put all this information together. I'm a long time Minolta user and your page has helped me understand my equipment better especially flashes. For fun I still shot film with a Maxxum 9 but use a 7D for all other aspects of my work.

I enjoyed your gallery. Your photos are better than good.

I was feeling a little discouraged to stick to Minolta/Sony, but your site is giving me support not to change to Canon.

Hallo!
Habe hier über Google hergefunden. Sehr interessante Seite. Mein Hobby ist die Digitalfotografie und das seit etwa einem Jahr. Leider habe ich "nur" eine kleine Digimax V700 von Samsung, aber die geht schon für den Anfang...
