I found this an excellent page about Minolta and macro photo equipment.
I came across this page when I was searching with google for macro equipment.

I am a Minolta fan, and uses SRT 101, and two XD7 bodies with a range of lenses, 24 mm - 400 mm

Regards, Frits

Hello, I am not new to taking pictures but my camera is old and I would like to know if anyone can suggest a camera for me. I used to have just a plain old spxi with the dateback. Then I got the 3xi without the dateback by mistake. Can anyone suggest a body that would be under $200 that my old lenses would be compatable with. Thanks so much and I just love this site....

The Dynax/Maxxum 5 is still available for less than $200 new. I would't recommend anything less. You might also get a used 7 for $200.

Very informative site, sincere congratulations for the research. I have been a Minolta fan for many years and could not find one of my lenses on your site: a wonderful Minolta 35-200mm AF. I have now got the Konica Minolta 7D camera and still use the above lens as well as many others. It has given me most of my best shots. Should you need more details, I would be delighted to provide them.

Regards

Sophie

nice! Very nicely done, came to this from a photo.net post, I haven't seen a nicer set of landscapes. A lot of people overdo the filters and fancy photoshop work, but it looks like your shots just bring out the elegance that we notice with our eye. Nicely done!

Hallo Minolta-Experte.
