I can't imagine Sony scrapping all the spare KM PC Boards for the Minolta Controller and then building a new board minus the required circuitry for the ringflash. I wonder if the board in the Sony model indeed has the required circuitry to hook up the ringlight flash. I have an exploded diagram of the inside of the Sony model but can't tell from that. I do wish they hadn't left that socket out!!
