| Waht does the word, Macro, mean on this lens? The magnification is listed as .25x, compared to my Minolta 100mm f2.8 Macro, for which the magnification is listed as 1:1 -- which is what I thougt I needed for a Macro lens to be Macro? Thanks, Alex |

| There are certainly better lenses, like the 70-300 SSM, but of course, these are also more expensive. It depends only on your needs and budget whether you have to upgrade your lenses or not. |
